Support Clean Energy AND Save Money!

The CT CEO is 100% non-polluting, domestic electricity.

A great way to support clean energy and save on your electric bill is to enroll with an alternative supplier and the CT Clean Energy Options. The Task Force recommends Discount Power's one-form-does-it-all that is available here.

A complete list of alternative suppliers can be found here. If you are already signed up with an alternative supplier you can support clean energy at the same time:

Renewable Energy for your Home

The Task Force promotes home PV installations, and CT Clean Energy Fund has programs to help homeowners do just that. One of them, the Solar Rebate program, can reduce the cost of a PV system up to 50%. Another, the CT Solar Lease program, requires no money down and is structured in such a way that your electricity bill does not increase. This programs funds are projected to be depleted by the end of February, so act now!

Also, rebates for Geothermal and Domestic Hot Water (solar) systems are now available here.

Portland's Reward for starting Early!

The town earned a 10 Kw solar photovoltaic (PV) array as a result of all the Portland residents that enrolled to support the Clean Energy Options. PV arrays convert sunlight into electricity, and this one will power 50 computers at peak performance. Every additional sign up gets Portland a point. When we reach certain point milestones, the town earns more PV arrays.
Check out system performance!
